Oldwell Hotel - Santa Domenica (Vibo Valentia)

The fine view of Stromboli made my stay nice.

This hotel is a complete disaster! The staff was rude, yelling at us for asking questions about the beach towels. They had us running back and forth like fools between reception and the bar for something so simple. The food was overpriced and horrible-it's as if they don't care about the guests at all. I regret my decision to stay here.

spotless room, everything was excellent. marvellous location, around 4-6 minutes walk from baia di riaci, greatly enjoyed this place. exceptional and fantastic meals.

The hotel was gorgeous with EFFICIENT staff and a perfect location right on the sea. The room was large and spotless, it was just what we needed. Comfortable bed and pillows, there were climate control, a personal safe and multi-channel TV available.

The beachfront location was fine, providing amazing views of Stromboli and the sunset each evening.

The beach area was not well maintained. We encountered a buildup of weeds near the umbrellas that detracted from the experience.

No issues, fulfills its purpose. Exceptionally helpful staff ensured everything was seamless . Free parking made exploring the area hassle-free.

The beachfront location was perfect for diving and water skiing, and the views were lovely. The host was so attentive. The restaurant on the terrace was a highlight, having meals with the sunset in sight was magical! Can't recommend this enough for a fun getaway.

One friend had issues with the cleanliness of their room, which dampened the experience a bit. They expected better for the price.

We spent 3 nights in a quadruple room with a sea view. The staff was super helpful, especially at reception, helping us get a better room. The beach was fine, and the restaurant staff, especially the Argentine girls, were fantastic. The water was crystal clear, perfect for kids.

Oh where do I start? The room I got was like a cave, and the sewer smell, just wow! Yes, dirty towels, too! I asked if I could upgrade for my trouble, but guess what? No special treatment for me, what a shocker! I almost wanted to give a good review, but nope, couldn't!

the beach offered free chairs and umbrellas, super comftrable. rooms can be noisy due to no glass windows.

Save your time

The beach location shines as a highlight, but the dining options left much to be desired, lacking variety and quality. For a quick beach escape, consider nearby choices instead.

We had such a wonderful time , especially enjoying the amazing sea views from our room and the delicious meals served on the terrace as we watched the sunset. The beach access was fantastic, with comfy loungers and umbrellas available for relaxation. Although the TV in our room didn't work, it didn't take away from the overall great experience 🌅

The amazing views and crystal clear water made our family vacation nice. My kids had a blast enjoying water sports and diving activities. We appreciated that the rooms were clean and as described online. Staying with two couples made it even more fun!

In my wife's opinion, the dining options were limited.

Staying here provided an awe-inspiring view of the sunset from the terrace restaurant, where we enjoyed exquisite meals. Jenny's warm hospitality stood out. For future guests, the beach nearby is a must-visit, perfect for leisurely afternoons.

The suite on the water offered stunning views, and breakfast options were decent. however, the restaurant service was painfully slow. I'd definitely return for that view!

It was just a great match for a weekend getaway in Santa Domenica with the best value. The beachfront location was fine, providing amazing views the whole time . I recommend checking out the public beach down the road for better sand and a lovely day in the sun.
